Like all sporting clubs and community organisations, the Wanderers Football Club has relied on volunteers to keep the club functioning. There are many not recognised in these lists however their efforts are not forgotten and are appreciated. Without them, the organisation would not be able to operate.
Then there are those special volunteers. Those whose longevity with a club and their willingness to go “over and beyond” for the Club and its members. Those members that the Club has deemed to recognise with a “Life Membership.”
GOLD LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Ken Quartermaine is someone who has certainly given a lifetime of valuable service as a player, an administrator, a senior coach and, for many years, the Club’s senior medical officer. So much so that the Club decided to award him a Gold Life Membership (his second Life Membership award).
The Club’s first and only such award.
